Our experience in real estate sales began in April 2006! Since then, we were involved in a partnership with another office until 2010. With a Qualifying Broker license since 2008, we chose to take a giant step of faith and open our own office at 800 Martinez, (540 Loop, or "the lake road", as we call it!)
In 2007, we became partners with the "Dos Rios Subdivision"-which is located at the Windy Point area of Ute Lake. From the installation of the infrastructure to the landscaping,to the marketing, we were involved with every aspect of it!
By 2010, we had finished the "Dos Rios Subdivision", but we were seeing signs of the real estate market decline, so in order to attract buyers to the new subdivision, we jumped in with both feet! With a construction loan and a lot of faith, Kent and I began building the first house on the new subdivision! In nine months, a gorgeous "New Mexico Territorial Style"-3000 square foot house was finished-with gorgeous, panoramic views of Ute Lake. We sold the house within a few days after it was finished. During this building process, because of our commitment to this project, we encouraged buyers to check out the brand new subdivision. Within a short time, we sold the adjacent lots to some very happy buyers!
Kent-With 25 years of experience as the Ute Dam Caretaker, Kent is the most knowledgeable of Ute Lake than most. He has walked Ute Lake many times, measured easements,found property lines, kept daily water level reports,released water through the pipeline, and always tried to keep the public informed. In 2013, Kent retired from ISC, but he brings valuable knowledge as he markets property all around Ute Lake and the Logan area.

From owning our first business-a bait shop/gun shop,a restaurant -Rios Restaurant,a retail store-The Secret Garden, and now to Terry Real Estate, we have always had a spirit of adventure-believing and embracing whatever a new business would bring! Logan, New Mexico has been our hometown for several years. We have raised our children here. We have a good school- the hub of the community. We still have the "small town" atmosphere in Logan. People here are known to take care of their neighbors and when needed, their neighbor's property! It's a busy little town during the summer months, then slows down to a quiet little place in the winter months.
